Logos
I often created quick logo concepts that could be used in promotional and pitch materials, as they made a product look more official and polished. I have also created simple logos for personal use.
Logo for a handheld beverage carbonator.
Logo for a specialty X-shaped moving dolly. I took some inspiration from the famous FedEx logo with negative space arrow.
Logo for a knife block.
Logo for my own knitwear brand, which I use to sell knitting patterns and other knitted goods.
Crowdfunding Campaign Graphics
We sometimes launched crowdfunding campaigns for our own products, but most of the time we worked for clients. This presented a unique set of requirements for a designer and design manager like me, as each product and client was in a different industry than the last.
Understand how the product works inside and out.
Decipher what makes the product unique, useful and buzzworthy.
Determine what graphics and images would be needed to show the problem and how the product solves it.
Create those graphics, following the branding requirements and feedback provided by the client.
PetSafe rufferee
This product was a system of coaching and monitoring pet behavior.
Small devices could be placed anywhere in the home the user wanted to monitor or deter their pet from, and a connected app would allow them to view the data and change settings. A collar would be worn by the pet to monitor them and provide a deterrent shock as needed.
I created all graphics and animated gifs for the campaign, introducing different features and benefits of this high tech product. The client was an established company and provided the brand colors, logos and photos to use.

Eagle Cap-Off
The Cap-Off was a vintage bottle opener that the clients wanted to bring back to life.
This tool worked well at opening bottles and also had a great history and story. The clients purchased the obsolete brand and wanted to raise money to tool and remanufacture the product.
I created animated gifs and most of the graphics along with another designer. I also pulled many stills from our video shoot to use for the photos on the page. The clients were not a well established brand so other than the logo we had a lot of say in the look of this campaign.

Ventev ChargeStand
This product was a phone charger that also functioned as a stand.
When closed, it could be utilized as a portable backup battery, and when open the device could be plugged in in a propped position.
I created the graphics, animated gifs, and many 3D renderings. I also planned scenes and photographed them based on needs for the campaign page.
The client was a large, well-established company, and they provided branding, colors and in-depth feedback.

REMFit Pillow
This product was a smart pillow that helps the user monitor their sleep habits.
It included the ability to listen to music or sleep sounds quietly, and a vibration that could be used as a gentle alarm, or an alert when snoring was detected to encourage a change of position.
I created the following graphics and more, introducing different aspects of sleep problems to readers of the campaign. The client was an established company and provided the brand colors to use.
Unfortunately, this company decided to launch the crowdfunding campaign on their own instead of continuing to work with our company, and remade all the graphics before going live, so these versions didn’t get their day in the sun!
